How to Edit Niche Health Products Minisites

If you’re a member of Niche Health Products, then you receive 2 complete sets of graphics and 2 complete plr adsense minisites which come in 2 versions. Version one is to be edited and used with XsitePro website editing software. The second version is desgined to be used with any standard html editing program such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage or NVU.

Male_Andropause_hotspot250.jpgThese minisites are composed of private label rights articles. This is a big benefit to anyone who uses minisites because you can edit the article completely. If you change the title and subtitles and add a sentence or change a sentence in the article you can create a unique webpage and begin to attract some good traffic. I’ve been using a program called WordFlood to rewrite my articles, WordFlood is an extremely easy program to use and they just came out with an awesome Version 2.0…..this is by far one of the easiest and best article rewriters I’ve used and the new version puts it out of read of any other rewriter in its class. Wordflood article rewriter is a needed tool for anyone using plr articles.

Below you’ll find an email I sent to one of my subscribers regarding editing NHP minisites.

Once again I apologize for the delay…my yard backs up to the Fox River and the front yard to a Conservation Area that is a literal misquito farm. Water is finally starting to go down. On top of that I’m always dealing with health problems with causes me to never be prompt in anything I do anymore. I only share with people because I feel like such a jerk for not being timely…..anyway, that’s my life story :)

I know a little about Jim Edwards course, don’t have it though. I thought he had some sort of proprietary website editor or is it called Mozilla?

Our when you refer to Mozilla are you talking about the open source browser and webdeveloper? If so send me the link.

If you’re interested in developing a series of health related sites I suggest you follow 2 strategies. One would be setting up a blog and the other would be setting up the minisites. It would be to your advantage to host the two sites on 2 seperate hosting accounts because you’ll want 2 seperate IP addresses. This will get your pages indexed quicker and allow one site to link to the blog.

Without getting into a whole lot of detail…I would follow this strategy. Get a generic health related domain…like www.TomsHealthSite.com then you would add the NHP directories (folders) to your domain….something like this:
www.TomsHealthSite.com/ocd
www.TomsHealthSite.com/andropause
www.TomsHealthSite.com/aging
www.TomsHealthSite.com/quitsmoking

Its imortant for you to understand that you should do some editing to the pages in each minisite, plus Kim gives you 25 articles a month which can be added to the minisite. Usually you don’t want to add them all at once.

For linking purposes you would have a main index.htm page. On this page you would have some general health information, maybe an article or article snippets and links back to the above minisites. You could offer a free book or other incentive to start building your list. Write some articles…submit them to the directories and drive traffic to your site. You’ll build a list in no time. Your url for this page would look like this:
www.TomsHealthSite.com/index.htm

I create 2 versions of the minisites. One version is for standard html editors, probably you could use your Mozilla program on. I use Dreamweaver for webpage design. The other version is for a website builder called XsitePro.

You sound like you could new at this. If money isn’t a big issue, I would consider picking up a copy of XsitePro. You’ll see and XsitePro version of the montly NHP minisites. You simply import that into XsitePro with the click of a button and then you can edit the article as simple as using Word and from within XsitePro you upload the folder to your site.

XsitePro automatically creates a Sitemap

Here’s where XsitePro excells….when you add an article, XsitePro automatically adds it to the navigation bar, footer, and/or sitemap of your new page plus all the other pages. All of which is important to maintain the linking structure in your website. Xsite is just like any other program…you have to spend some time learning how to use it, but they have an excellent manual and a good variety of instructional videos.

You can do all of the above with any website editing program….you’ll have to do it manually and it takes a while.

If you spend any time learning and applying the fine art of internet marketing you’ll find yourself purchasing a variety of programs, each to do a specific purpose. I have a ton of programs….most I don’t use, Xsite has proven useful and is great for setting up a quick page or site…especially for the beginner.

Hope I haven’t sounded like a used car salesman. But you can’t go wrong with the program, I’m sure there is some sort of trial or 30 day warranty….Give it a shot!

Hope this info helps…let me know if you have any other questions.

Talk to ya latter

How to Use RSS Feeds

RSS feeds can scare the pants off of the internet newbie. And even the experienced internet user can shy away from using rss feeds because they appear intimidating.

If you have a wordpress blog you’ll automatically have an rss feed for the entire blog or each individual post. Internet Marketers and those selling goods and services online would be smart to consider using rss feeds to get their information to their website visitors and readers. The information in a rss feed isn’t sent via email….so it can’t get caught in the spam filters.

Check out Michelle Timothy’s book on Add RSS Feeds to Your Site Easily! Michelle is an expert with RSS and its many applications, I use many of her scripts and programs.

Here’s another very basic video on rss feeds. Take a couple of hours out of your day to understand rss feeds and set up a couple of feeds in a rss reader. Soon you’ll be addicted because it will save sooooo much time!

How To Use RSS Feeds

RSS is a way to check for updates to your favourite websites, without having to visit each site individually. We’ll show you how to use this great timesaver. How to use RSS Feeds effectively!

How to use RSS feeds
Step 1:
You will need

Step 2:
Choose a RSS program

To use RSS, you will need to use a RSS Aggregator, a single program that gathers information from all your favourite sites. If you use a lot of different computers during your day, a web-based RSS aggregator is a good choice. An RSS website like newsgator, or the RSS features found in internet portals such as yahoo and msn, puts your RSS feeds onto your own web page, accessible from any computer with an internet connection. If you use the same computer all day, an RSS aggregator built into your web browser, such as Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox, or a separate RSS aggregator program downloaded onto your computer, such as bitscast, would be a good solution.

Step 3:
Find a RSS feed

You can tell if a website has a RSS feed if it displays one of these three orange symbols. These are the link to the address of the website’s RSS feed. RSS symbols are usually found at the top of a website’s front page. Larger sites such as the BBC’s website, may have multiple RSS feeds for each section, such as separate news feeds for England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Some browsers with RSS built in, such as Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox, will detect RSS feeds automatically.

Step 4:
Subscribe

To subscribe to a RSS feed, you need to copy its web address into your RSS aggregator. Some aggregators will automatically subscribe to a feed by simply left clicking on the orange RSS symbol or the aggregator’s own logo, which can often be found close by. Alternatively, right click on the orange RSS logo and left click on the ‘copy shortcut’ option, and then paste the address straight into your RSS aggregator.

Step 5:
View your RSS feeds

Now your RSS aggregator has the RSS feed’s web address, it will automatically check for new updates at regular intervals, you don’t have to do a thing. Depending on your program, you may receive the entire article, or the first few lines with a link to see the whole article online.

Internet History

The power of the press, was now in the hands of everyday people. The internet was about to change everything… the way we communicate, the way news would spread, and how we would get our information.

Six weeks later that same year, internet pioneer Ken McCarthy, organized the first conference ever held, that focused exclusively, on the commercial potential of the web.

1994 ==> Start of the Internet

Ken was the first to realize that, technology is the just the ride, content is and always will be king. Since those days, Ken has been hosting an annual internet marketing conference called “The System Seminar” training the worlds best internet marketers.

He’s watched the medium mature. He has watched the marketing space degrade into lazy opportunists, with dog pack mentality. But rather than join the beast, Ken has decided to fight back, with his new one day seminars, and this volley from his blog…

Ken’s Blog ==> http://kenmccarthy.com/blog/

“Most business owners are sales and marketing wimps, those who understand the art of selling get the playing field all to themselves.”

“Frankly, there’s nothing more annoying to a real entrepreneur than some twit with a pile of easy money, driving the prices of everything up, and stinking up the marketplace with his noise.”

“The best investment in good times, and the best investment in bad times, has always been the same thing: a smart, well run business, that’s in touch with marketing reality.”

“The only thing that keeps most people from enjoying the fruit of own their own successful business, is a lack of knowledge. Plenty of people are willing to work hard and they do - for other people. But hard work without an entrepreneur’s insight, and know-how, is a prescription for being on an endless treadmill.”

“So how do you get off the treadmill and profit whether times are good or bad? You invest in your most important asset: Yourself. You develop the most valuable real estate you own: The space between your ears.”

“Internet marketing is still the best shot, that the little guy has to get traction, and escape consensus mediocrity, and live life, on his or her own terms.”

Are you ready to join an intense, small group setting, conducted personally by Ken McCarthy, the single most effective trainer of internet marketers, in the history of internet marketing?

The Fastest Way to Get Links

The Fastest Way to Get Links

Question: What’s the fastest way to get links? Google said that any page, without at least one incoming link, is considered spam. So where do I get links in a hurry?

Answer: From your blog, or any web page that you own. >From someone else’s blog, an article submission, a press release, or a directory like Yahoo, or Starting Point.

It doesn’t really matter where the links come from. But it’s the quality of the link that has the most impact. The more PR (PageRank) and link popularity that a page has, the more of its “juice” that it will pass on to you.

For example, the “real” purpose of my blog, is to get deep incoming links to my main site. I post just a portion of an article on my blog, and then I deep link to the full story on my site. That way, all stories on my main site, have at least one incoming link.

In addition to the PR of the page hosting the link, what you say in the link is very important. Use your keywords in your links. They will build a Reputation for the pages that you link to. And that’s important for good SEO.

But if you don’t want to start your own blog, for incoming links, you can use a service like Duncan Carver’s Authority Site X, or Mike Liebner’s Article Underground, both of which include blogs, and provide incoming links.

Authority Site X ==>

Article Underground ==>

Each page that you create, generates more PageRank for your site. Sweet Google juice that you can aim however you want.

Remember… pages create PageRank, links distribute it. My tests show that 100 words, four or five short paragraphs, are enough to be considered a page worth spidering.

So blog often, and link the blog entries to the most important pages on your main site. That way, you’ll be spreading around that sweet Google juice, to the pages that need it the most.

Do you establish a relationship with your customers if you are selling online?

When you are sending your message to them, do you hurry to get the sale or try to make a large sale first?

If you are selling to those who aren’t familiar with you, a big commitment from them is not a good idea.  This is also true if you are trying to sell a high price item.

Being too swift to capture the sale actually turns people off and increases their resistance to what you have to offer.

It works better to start off small and build trust before approaching a larger offer.  Once someone has turned you down, they are unlikely to buy anything from you.  In fact they will probably never visit your website again.

Take time to communicate with your customer and show you have their best interest at heart.

Show your customer value first.  You can do this by offering them something for free.  Give them information that is useful to them.  It doesn’t cost you anything to do this.  And the rewards can be substantial.

Make sure your customer sees the benefit in what you have to offer.  If they accept your free offer, they will see that you care about them, which increases their trust level. This is critical because we don’t buy from those we don’t trust.

Once they see you care, they will be more likely to make a simple purchase from you.  After this, larger backend sales to them will be easier.

So, remember to establish a relationship with your customer first.  It will go a long way.

To your success,

Michael Wolf
