Sell Multiple Products With Clickbank
I know many of you use clickbank for affiliate marketing. There are a number of ways to create additional products on one account. Currently Clickbank allows you to add 500 products to one account. Fred Black has a great article along with the necessary code that shows you how to get the most from clickbank. Enjoy:)
This is how to sell more than one product from your Clickbank account and still have affiliates land on the correct sales page for each product.
Clickbank’s affiliate program is a great way to leverage or multiple your Internet business sales by offering a commission to the affiliates in the Clickbank network for selling your product. An affiliate selects your product and advertises it by placing a link, called a Hop Link to it on their web site, or in a newsletter, etc. When an interested person clicks the link, they end up on your sales page and if they make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission. This all works really well until you try to add a second product to your Clickbank account. That’s when you realize that you are only allowed one sales page url for all your products. The “Official” position is to open a separate Clickbank account; however, we can use a little scripting to make it work like it should.
Summary of the required steps:
- Make a script page that is the common landing point for affiliates. This page will redirect to your actual, per product sales page based on a parameter that is passed to it. This page will list your products if no parameter is passed to it, or if no parameter is passed to it. Here’s the link to mine: http://www.PhaseQuest.com/ClickBank/cbr.php. You will need to edit this script each time you create and add a new product. This file (script) goes in a common location or your main web site.
- Make a script page that makes the correct hop link for the affiliate to use. See the link above for my hoplink generator links. You will need one of these for each of your products. This file goes in the same web as your sales letter. This script is actually made up of two files, an html file and a php file. You put the link to the HTML file on your site, and the affiliate fills in their information and then clicks submit which calls the php file and generates their HopLink.
- Put the correct information into your Clickbank account. For example mine is the link above (http://www.PhaseQuest.com/ClickBank/cbr.php).
Below I’ll list the contents of the the cbr.php file and one of the hoplink generator file sets. These files use css. If you don’t understand how to utilize what I’ve shown you here, or want to learn more, please see three of my online home study training products:
